  1. To acheive the best and almost perfect results use a liquid liner with a very thin tip.

    Peace!!!

  2. you do it on the inner lid, like the one that 'touches' your eye.

    kind of like this

  3. the best ting to do is get a thin liner brush like this:

then you get a liquidy black eyshadow like this:

in the color you want. you dip the brush in the mousse shadow then make a thin line with the brush on ur eyelid. it is fool proof and soo dam easy. it makes the most perfect line like this

u can get a brush like that at walMart for about $3.47

  4. pull your eyelid a little bit to the side, and put on the eyeliner very close to the lashes (pretty much against them)

when you let go of the lid it will look thicker, so make it a thin amount, and keep adding  :)

  5. It's much easier, and looks better, to use an angled brush and eyeshadow.

I never put eyeliner on my top lids, but it always looks like it because I apply black eyeshadow with an angled brush really close to the lash-line.

But if you really prefer to use eyeliner.. you should dot it instead of draw a solid line across your lid. Make sure you get really close to your lash-line though, or it looks tacky. Liquid eyeliner makes it easier.

  6. Start out with a liquid eyeliner with a very thin tip. Once you get the hang out that you can start with a pencil and thicker one. It just takes practice not many people can do it on their first time perfectly.

    Just keep praticing!

  7. To get the best look use liquid liner with a thin tip. :)

Then to apply, put one dot along the top of your lashes on the left hand side, then one in the middle, then one at the right.  Finally join them all together in a fluid line.

    Sorted!

  8. well, you know what they say, "practice makes perfect". i've been in makeup artistry for over 39 years, and i've finally mastered the art of eyeliner. the trick is to hold the eye-lining pencil VERY still while resting on top of your eyelid where you want the eye-lining to be done. then, very quickly, without poking your eye out, move your head in a sharp left-to-right motion. this also takes practice. if you do it at the correct pace, your eye-lining should turn out flawlessly! good luck, darling!

  9. learn with pencil, then u can move onto liquid- its trickier.

all u need to do is make a line. go behind ur top lashes with the pencil and get the tip as close to the roots as possible then just draw it. use a cotton bud with makeup remover if u go wrong. its just abt practicing.

  10. There's no trick that will instantly make it amazing

Just keep practising, and until you get it right, do it as messy as you like then make it look neat with a damp q-tip

My friend suggested to me (before I got the hang of it) that I first use a dark eyeshadow as a guide to where I want the line to be, and apparently this worked well for her

    Good luck!

  11. It took along time to perfect eye liner on the top so practice is very important! No matter how hard it is always have your eye open so you can follow the natural curve. If you want to go for a flick at the end very very delicately stretch the part wear the flick will go and follow the crease of your eye (you'll see what i mean when you do it.) Always have something to remove any mistakes. For the first month or two I started wearing it I'd put it on before any other make-up so if it went dramatically wrong I could wipe it off and not ruin anything. Of course this is harder if you want to wear eyeshadow as it eyeshadow would fade the line but it looked better than if I went badly wrong after I'd done all my make-up. I use liquid eyeliner as it's easier to draw with because you don't have to press down hard as you do with pencil on the top which can cause mistakes. It also lasts longer.I wouldn't advise putting it on the bottom as sometimes it leaks into your eye and hurts! Alot!

I also used to have this little trick where before I did my make-up i'd do a big thick line across the top of both eyes not worrying about how messy it was then get a make-up wipe, close my eye and wipe it off quickly. Some of the eyeliner still remained on my eye (always) in a perfect line. Of course it would need a touch up and some bits needed wiping again but it always worked.

I'd advise giving yourself longer than your normally would to get ready if your going to put eyeliner on for the first time (or first couple of times) incase you do go wrong and have to restart. Don't want you being late. :)

  12. I use MACs liquid liner & a good brush. a GOOD brush is the key! I use liquid on the top & pencil on the bottom/corner. It seems to work well.

Dip the brush in the liner, and slowly draw the line on your lash line while gently holding your eye shut. Use a smooth stroke...from the inner corner of your eye outward.

Dont line the entire bottom lash line, only the outer corner & like 60% of the way towards your nose....

    Good Luck!

  13. I personally would start out with a eyeliner pencil and then go over it with a liquid eyeliner. the one thing you always have to remember about putting eyeliner on top of your eyelids is that you should never tug on it too much because it'll cause early sagging and wrinkles around your eye area. You should probably use a q-tip because it'll be more gentle than your finger. So with your pencil, as close as you can to your lash line .. start in the middle and move outwards. The line doesn't have to be one perfect line. And if your hands are shaky like mine, it'll be easier if you do it in small strokes because it'll be neater. After you make your line, you can go over it with the liquid eyeliner. =]

  14. either get a very thin eyeliner wand or just us a make up brush on of the really thin ones and put a but of either shadow with a big of eyedrops (water works but ruins the brush) or just put your eyeliner color right on the brush

this is what the brush looks like
