How do i put eyeliner on my top lid?

i have tried but can never get it neat....

put it near the lash line and make sure it gets broader closer to the out corners.

It really takes work to get it perfect, and most of the time it's still not exactly how you want it. The way I do it is pull the edge of my eye to make my top lid smooth and quickly put it on. Sometimes quicker is better because you don't leave much error for shaky hands.
