Hi amykimtran,

If you are going to use a CD you will have to have very short videos. about 30 minutes or less for decent quality.

To record movies that can be played on DVD players you need to use a DVD+R or DVD-R. To do that you need to have a DVD recorder in your computer and a program to copy your movie to the DVD such as Nero or DVD shrink.
