How do i put my arm around my gf at the movies?

every time i go to the movies on a date i dont no what to do to put my arm around her. usually her friends will say "put your arm around your gf" and then i will just do it but how do i do it with out that. just on my own.

Ya, movie seats are really not very comfortable anyway. Having an arm around my neck just makes it worse. I'd rather have my guy hold my hand and only if I get really cold will I put his arm around me and snuggle close.

See if she wants to go to a scary movie.When she gets scared put your arm around her to comfort her.Girls love that because they feel protected.Try not to be afraid of her not liking it.Make it very casual and not a big deal.

You just do, If she likes it then she will lean up against your chest while you both watch the movie. If she isn't feeling it  she  will not be up agaisnt you and there will be space in between for you to play it of by streching or something.

Lift up ur arm and put it around her shoulder...

Its really not that hard and she will think it sweet and more than likely lean into ur chest slightly...

Just go for it...dont over think it or ur just going to get too nervous and end up not doing it...just ease into it =]

Hmmm. most guys do have a problem with this little maneuver. First things first: DON'T YAWN! That is sooo excruciatingly lame. Try this: When you guys are at a movie and about to sit down, sit down first and then put your arm around the back of her chair. That way, it will look like you are just naturally sitting down like that and are comfortable with that position. Then when she sits down, put your hand on her shoulder. If she sits down first, then just put your arm around her as you sit down. For a little added touch, let out a barely audible "ah" as if you are comfy and getting settled, you know? Nothing creepy like "OH YEAH!", but even a slight exhale just to show you are comfy, and then that will give her added confidence too. Little tip though: Don't forget deoderant. If its a good theater with those armrests that move out of the way, just hold your arm out before she even sits down so she can cuddle up and get comfortable. She will appreciate it. If its a cheap one with permanent arm rests, just hold her hand cause she'll never get comfortable

It's actually really uncomfortable when a guys arm is around me at the movies... So just hold her hand or something, makes things allot more simple.
