How do i put my video on to the computer?

say i recorded a show on tv ok on to a blank video cassette and i wanted to put it on to the computer get the good bits and put them into youtube how would i do that?!

You will need some kind of video capture device, and video editing software. The video capture device would interact between your vcr (if you recorded it on tape) and your computer. Try Tigerdirect.com for a device, I got one from them and it works great. Or, you might be able to get one at your local BestBuy when you buy the video editing software.
