How do i put my xpress music phone on silent?

I turned down the volume all the way and the keys still beep loudly. I also heard that even when it's on silent it will still ring. Is this true? i'm concerned because I just started college and I'll be starting class soon and don't want it going off. Also, holding down the red hang up button doesn't turn it off... is there another way?

Haha, yeah the power button on top puts it on silent and other "modes" of ringing.

And no, it won't ring when it's on silent. You could try it out and call your cell from a house phone while its on silent and check. =)

And, are you looking to end the call or turn off the phone?

If you want to end the call, the red hang up button is the right button

If you want to turn off the phone, just press and hold the power button down.

What color is your phone by the way?
