I have metro pcs & i use crostel.com or wap.crostel.com from my cell phone. you just get on your phones internet directly & search

i use VENTONES which is a site in which you upload a song, take part of it, up to 40 sec. and that it is your ringtone. ventones will send your ringtone as a text message or whatever way you want too, to your phone. it is free.

Some phones have this feature disabled, however on mine, I have to take an MP3 file and copy it from my SD card to the phone, and then it just shows up in the list of ringtones. Alot of phones don't have this option. you're only other option would be hacking the phone which would void your warranty.
