How do i put songs from my computer onto my ipod

can you explain it as simply as possible, i have all the songs i want on my computer in itunes libary but how do i get them from my computer onto my ipod-tell me as though you're talking to an idiot other wise i wont get it. thanks!

1) Well first off you connect your ipod to your computer with the usb lead.

2) Then it should come up with ipod owners thing something like that cant remeber.

3) get the music or videos etc you want and click & drag it into your ipod owners sign.

Then it should say sync on you ipod whilst transfering music onto your ipod
