How do i put the sand in my turtle tank for eggs?

i have 2 res turtles and they are both horny..haha..but i need to know how much sand to put in there and whre i put it and how to set it up...please help mee

  1. well your going to have to wait till next may and then it takes 80 to 90 days to hatch..

  2. Don't even do that. When your turtles want to mate they will mate in the water if they are aquatic turtles. If they are land then there is no reason to put more soil in. If one does get pregnant take the turtle to a field or grassy area in the sun. Let her lay her eggs then dig them up. It does not matter if you turn the eggs, it won't harm the baby inside. Range the temperature of the field and create the same surroundings as the original nest site. MAKE  sure the eggs are moist

    " water " the eggs with 8 ounces of water a day. The eggs will take 90 days to hatch and then you have baby turtles. It depends on the temperature high----means males low means females. Also the type of turtle will depend on the amount of eggs. Good luck.
