How do i put those cartoon pictures to show up on my profile?

i dont like to see a blank picture, plus i see almost everybody else has a cartoon picture, i think it makes them more prone to getting their questins answerd cuz they take this site seriously, yes yes, i know taht sounds kinda wierd but oh well can somebody tell me please, i hate having no picture in my profile, i tried looking for the option myself but i guess im too stupid to find it, lol

they are called avatars and the website is http://avatars.yahoo.com/   its pretty cool because you can change your clothes and pick your hair do and all that good stuff. its pretty fun. cant wait to see your avatar up soon :D

they are called avatars and you get them by going to avatars.yahoo.com

Make an avatar at http://avatars.yahoo.com/ , its a yahoo thing. (thats what I did). If you have a yahoo 360 account you can take an image from online, put it on your account there, and transfer it to yahoo answer account. Then either one you choose go your account info by clicking on your blank image go to edit my info and select avatar, or 360. good luck! Also you can just click on you blank image, then edit my info, then go to edit my avatar. again GOOD LUCK!!!

click on your gray picture, then on the link that says 'edit my profile'

then in the picture section go from there...

go there and begin your new avatar image :) it will automatically show on answers.yahoo.com so don't worry.

click on your blank picture.  It should take u to yahoo avatars.  Or to your Yahoo! Answers profile.  Once ur there u can  create ur avatar.
