  1. I've been working at mcdonalds for about a month too. But I'm pretty sure it will get better. I had days when I just wanted to run out of the restaurant and fire myself but you just need to tell yourself to keep going.

So far all I've gotten is 2 days of the week, and they generally always put me on saturdays and sundays which cuts into my day.

If you really want to quit just drop in your uniform and tell a manager. You can also always tell them over the phone. As for the pay bit you should be getting general pay each week [thats what they do at my mcdonalds anyway] Just remember about tax and see if they've taken off some of it from your uniform.

  2. I hated working at Mc Donalds

Just tell your manager you are quitting and collect your pay.

  3. i would just walk out on they busiest day

  4. Usually the manager takes care of everything, tell him your quitting so he doesn't expect you to show up to work the next day, basically same as you got the job, thats who you talk to, to quit, If I was you I would ask for the paycheck first so you dont get ripped of from a pissed off manager

  5. My advice is walk off the job.  Why?  I worked at McDonald's back when I was going to high school.  I worked my butt off and had negative swing managers.  One time my grandfather passed away, and I requested to take time off, to go out of state to attend his funeral.  My boss said, "No".  I don't know why I didn't quit then, but I didn't, so instead I missed his funeral.

Walk off the job.  It's not like an important position you're leaving that will affect your future resume.  Enjoy your walk off.  :)

  6. Do something you like.  If you dont need the job, quit today.  Do something you love and youll never have to work a day in your life.

  7. If you haven't worked there that long, I and they're treating you like c**p, I wouldn't worry about giving a notice. You should at least tell them you are quitting. Don't just not show up. Call if you want, ask for a manager, and just tell them it's not working out. Good luck, hopefully you'll find a better job.

  8. just tell them you quit. that's it. they dont actually care about it that much if you are only getting one day a week

  9. Even though it's not recommended, but I've known PLENTY of people who quit the same day. Better than getting fired.

  10. yo go to calrs jr

  11. Tell them what you just said.. say that they dont pay you and you would like to quit.. thats all its easy

  12. I am surprised to hear of your situation, that is very unusual for a McDonald's operation.  And I can't believe you've not been paid in a month?  Is this a corporate owned store or a franchise?  I would suggest speaking with the general manager or even the owner (if franchised) about your situation as it's not the McD way.  But if you feel strongly about leaving, it is always a good idea to give two weeks notice in writing to your supervisor.  They may just let you go then or not give you more shifts, but it is important that you act professionally for every job as it will serve you well as your career develops.  Always take the high road and do what's right, don't burn bridges.

  13. just walk out. if they dont even know you, they will never know

  14. Show up for your shift and then in the middle of it, take a bathroom break. If there is a window, crawl out of it and don't look back. If not, just walk out the door.
