How do i re clear?or gel coat? top edges of my ranger boat?

just the top edges where wwater lays and sun hits,are completly gone,i can feel the metal flake,how do i make this smooth and shiney again?

Wet sand with 320. Tape up and spray urethane clear on it.

I learned a trick also recently. That flake is hard to spray, and a special (or dedicated) gun is needed to apply it. The House of Color flake is high as a kite as well. I needed to patch an area on a silver flake boat, and went to Wal-Mart and bought the tubes of sparkle glitter. I applied a wet coat of clear over the area I needed to patch, then "dusted" the flakes on, and added a couple more coats of clear. Then I wet sanded the top of the boat and cleared it all. The repair area can't be found!
