How do i record T.V. shows on my camera and show them clearly on youtube?

Okay so i've recorded a few videos. And well thy are really poor quality and i want to make clear videos. So if you know a technique please help.

I've already promised it to my viewers.

You could try hooking up the Composite cables (Red,Yellow,White)l from your mini DV camera to the TV or VCR, and use the firewire from the camera to the computer. then using an advance editor  you can use "Capture Now" to capture the video in raw DV clips.

Then just edit and export your clips as Mpeg 4 and upload to Youtube.
