hook up your Akai MPC 2000 to the computer via cables.

Do you have a music /studio software?

record from your editor while the Akai is in playback.

once finished you can save the work by exporting to a wave file or saving it to an MP3 file.

Also there should be software's you can get that connects the sampler to your computer.
