How do i record my music?

Question

I have baught a a small sony microphone with a standard headphone jack. how would i use this to record some music??

First you need a program to record most computers have a little sound recorder program under Entertainment in the Accessories on your All Programs tab on your start menu. You also need to plug the microphone jack into the plug-in either in the front or back of your computer that has a small microphone picture on it.
