How do i record off a tv with a camcorder?

like i kno u nesome time of cord or its something to do with the output but i dont know. like those people that make video game montages or show tv clips...please help and thank u

The camcorder needs AV-in capability through the analog (composite - yellow RCA jack). Most camcorders do not have this feature.

There are other ways to do this - like copy the video file off of a DVR...

Record to a VHS VCR and use an analog/digital bridge like those from Pinnacle
