  1. boot it from cd,follow prompts and it done...corse then youll have to reinstall windows as it is now gone.

  2. I know source of your answer

  3. If you mean a drive other than your main one (usually c:) - use the windows format tool:

    In VISTA HOME PREMIUM:

    :Start - my computer

    :right click drive

    :select format

If you want to format the old way or - in order to do a complete wipe of the system, you have to restart the computer and enter into a DOS prompt. This can be done a couple different ways.

Or ask a pro to do it for you. ;)

    The links could be helpful:

  4. assuming you are using win xp, you will need an xp installation disk and a little technical know how to get throught the first bit, i suggest you google it, there are loads of good guides.

  5. You can go into BIOS by constantly holding down f8 or f11 whilst your computer is booting up, but i would recommend that you by the proper soft wear to do it.

  6. If you want to reformat the whole Disk drive, then insert your windows cd and boot from that. It will start to go through some installation and then during the setup it will ask you if you want to format the drive. You can delete any partitions from there if you wish. If you have a secondary drive then through windows explorer right click on the drive and you see a format option in the box.

  7. DO NOT DO IT YOURSELF.

Get somebody who knows what they are doing to do it for you, just ask around your friends and family as someone will know somebody with an IT background I'm sure.

  8. You need to first find out how many Space you have(ie..hard disk space)

For eg -- 160=20 for c:,70*2 for next two drives...

take a back up of all the data required then run the OS  disk if that is what u want to format.
