How do i reformat the c drive for a dell inspiron 1150?

It should come with a recovery disk, take that put it in cd slot, and format, it will guide u itself.

If you mean wiping the hard drive & starting fresh I would do a low level format. Check out the link below. This will make the hard drive as if it was new from the store, but you will have to reload Windows & other software. You should have a good knowledge of computers before doing this or ask a friend who knows computers to help.
