How do i register a row boat to go fishing in it?

Although many states do not require rowboats to be registered, registration regulations vary quite a bit  from state to state.   Registration is handled by the country courthouse, so stop by or give them a call to see what their requirements are.  Some states handle this through the department of motor vehicles, others through the office of the registrar.  Call one and they'll get you pointed in the right direction.

If you bought your boat used in your state and it has numbers on the side, that indicates, it probably needs to be registered and the previous owner should have signed over the registration to you much like a car.

you only have to register a boat if it has a motor. Oars dont count
