Here is how you can unsubscribe from a Yahoo Group:

1.Try to unsubscribe through:

2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

Groups > My Groups > Edit My Groups

Then check the "Leave Group" box.

If you are talking about user groups

go to Start > Run

Enter "control userpasswords2" (on Win2k "control userpasswords"), there you will go the Tab Advanced, where you should press the button "Advanced" under "Advanced user management".

This will take you to "Local Users and Groups" where you can edit them.

A other way to access this is

Start > Control Panel (> Performance and Maintenance) > Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management, where you can choose  "Local Users and Groups".
