How do i remove avg 8?

im trying to install kaspersky and its recognising avg to be there still but its not in my control panel or no sign of it on my laptop

First close avg, right click its icon in the taskbar if its running. Next click on start menu and click all program, click avg to expand and finally click uninstall avg.

Click>start>run type in Msconfig>OK>start up tab and delete any files you see that are for AVG.

go to start

then click run

type in regedit (hit enter)

navigate to this

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE

expand the software folder and look for avg and delete it
