How do i remove bmw timing chain?

i have a 1998 bmw 318 and i am trying to replace the head gasket but i am stuck with the timing chain can anyone tell me how to remove the timing chain

please help as i cannot afford to take into a garage

There is a tool that you will need to remove the gear which will allow chain removal.  Call autozone or some place like that and ask for a timing gear removal tool set.

If you don't already know how then you need to take it to a garage trying to do it yourself will just mess things up more and end up costing you a lot.  I'm not going to explain it to you because well this is the internet and I can't be there to help you.  My father was a mechanic since his teens and he's 61 now.  That's how I learned to fix cars.  You need to take it to a shop.
