How do i remove candlewax from clothes?

How do i remove candle wak from clothes. Please help

The iron with an absorbent material between the wax and the iron is quickest way. If it still leaves a mark, sneak in and chat with a care taker at a Church. My mom does everything and more at her Church (Anglican) and I know for a fact they keep a solution of something that takes wax out of carpets like nothing else.

Place one paper bag underneath the cloth while you set the iron to heat on a medium to medium high level, depending on the fabric. Place a second paper bag on top of the wax.

Gently iron the area until the wax has been transferred to the paper bag. Throw the paper bag with the wax residue into the trash once it has cooled. Repeat the process with another paper bag until all of the wax has been removed.

Wax!  Always fun!  A couple of ideas:

* A warm (but not hot) iron over your wax stain, with paper towels under and over the garment.  Keep shifting or changing out the paper towels so that they will blot more of the wax.

* A hair dryer also works for softening wax so that it can be removed with a pick of some kind (like the tip of a knife, if the wax is embedded in the fabric).

We had to take it out of a carpet once, you put wax paper against it and then iron the wax paper
