How do i remove motor oil from the carpet????

How much motor oil? Heavy amounts will often penetrate into the carpet pad. If this is the case the pad would need to be replaced and both sides of the carpet cleaned. If you do not replace the pad it could resurface over time. A solvent would work best to break down oil/grease but will need to be extracted very well with clean water using a carpet cleaning machine. Be careful because many products will break down the glue in the carpet backing causing it to separate. Professional help might be necessary.

Try Simple Green Degreaser, preferably with a carpet cleaner machine. It worked for my mom when her boyfriend put his greasy car jack on her livingroom floor. If you don't have a carpet cleaner most grocery stores will rent them to you.
