I want to remove my stored credit card information from ebay without updating it, but i have ebay fee's due and it can't be charged to my automatic payment method. I need to set it to automatically charge my paypal, but it will still charge the credit card. Anyone know how to remove it?

P.S. i contacted the ebay team and they don't help at all -.-

  1. This is another thing that's changed recently.

You can only update your card (or bank) details - if you remove them, your seller account will be closed

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/account/upd...

If you already owe the fees, even if you decide to close your seller account, they wouldn't remove the card details until payment had been taken (this is nothing new, they've always operated that way).

You should still be able to change your automatic payment method from your summary page, although it might be that now, you have to clear your outstanding fee before you can even do that.

  2. If you have already been invoiced on that card, its going to attempt the card no matter what you do. If that declines just pay one time payment yourself for this month.

You say you don't want to update, but yet you want it to use PayPal instead? That is updating, just updating to PayPal instead of a new card.

Only Customer Support can remove a credit card for you, there is no way to do it on the site yourself. That will leave you with nothing on file. However, if you add PayPal it will just replace the credit card as your payment method (still won't take effect until next invoice). To update PayPal to replace your credit card:

Go to My ebay and in the seller account section click the Sign up today link under seller fees where the PayPal logo shows. There's also the "Update your automatic payment method." link that does the same thing.
