How do i remove myself from a corporation in canada?

I'm in a corporation with a friend of mine. Our business no longer does anything, but he won't agree to close the corporation. I want my name removed and this way it will prevent me from filing taxes since the corporation is desolved. How do I remove myself even though he doesn't want me too?
