How do i remove the timing chain of 1998 bmw 318?

i have a 1998 bmw 318 and i am trying to replace the head gasket but i am stuck with the timing chain can anyone tell me how to remove the timing chain

please help as i cannot afford to take into a garage

Rather than looking for it on the internet, I would invest in a how-to manual at your local advance auto parts store (or whatever you prefer). I bought one for my 05 tahoe, and it was a very valuable investment (only about 10 dollars). They provide step-by-step instructions on how to do it. Just a suggestion.
