How do i repair my broken AEG airsoft gun?

Question

So its a Well R4 mp7. It just dry fires. Like the entry where the bullets from the mag go into the gun is shut. I can get one shot off if i push it open with a cleaning rod, but it wont reopen. Can anyone help me?? Also what are some repair shops in or near Seattle Washington? And where are good airsofting places that are lega? also are the indoor courses?

It sounds like the tappet plate is broken, and it can happen on the Marui brand as well...

So even the vererable Marui succumb to low-quality ammo!  Airsoft guns break, no matter what the brand, it is intrinsic to the nature of things with moving parts.

just search for "tappet plate" it shows the gearbox disassembled, and JB weld it then it will be just as good as the Marui version :)  Or take it somewhere at least you can tell them specifically what the problems is and they may not rip you off to badly - lol

Get a replica that's not made by a crappy manufacturer is your best bet. When that breaks, it breaks. If you had chosen to not waste your money and got a replica of decent quality, it would break less often, and it is fixable with replacement parts available. I would suggest doing some research on the internet about airsoft before wasting any more time or money, it is not a cheap sport. And don't play in public please.

go to www.shortyusa.com 2 get a new airsoft gun u can trust them and they have good high guality guns starting at $3.99................... or its a good gun so u could bring it some were 2 get it fixed.................... or u can sell broken airsoft guns 2 some websites so they can sell it 2 people who can fix them and keep them

Yup, it definitely sounds like a snapped tappet plate.
