  1.   Sorry Lucky but you don t EVER put anything over a laminate floor.To take it up all you ll have to do is remove and shoe or quarter round molding that is on the floor covering the edges..On Base molding if that was put in after on top of laninate..At one of the lenghth way boards up against a wall just pull up on the board.. It ll "unsnap" and the whole row of boards will pop right up..Now depending on which way it was layed one row will pop up easier than the other but you can do either end.save all boards and cuts it can be relayed in another smaller ares if you choose.Saving the foam underlayment is a bit trickier since that ll be all taped or self adhesived together depending on what type was installed  GL


  2. depends on what you want to put over it...easiest way is to put a 1/8th in subfloor over it and then put what ever flooring you want over that..the only thing you need to make sure of is that you still have clearence under any doors that might open in the room..


  3. Not enough information my friend. What are you replacing it with? What is the condition of the old floor? What room will you be doing this replacement in? Are we on cement or wood?
