How do i replace the fuel filter on a 99 ford taurus 3.0 engine?

You have an inline filter that is underneath toward the rear. It is cylindrical with a hose clamp holding it tight. There are 2 plastic retainer clips in the lines at the filter that pop out for removal.The new filter should come w/ new clips. Be sure to install the new filter correctly as it will have an arrow to indicate fuel flow direction. Point the arrow forward.

most fuel filters are under the cars by the gas tanks. get under the back of the car and have a look you should find it.
