But the thing is me and this person live under the same roof, and it's family. Ok i moved into my grandmothers house to take care of her because no other family wanted to do it. And i don't believe in nursing homes unless really a last resort. Anyway i have a cousin who moved into my grandmother's house which was only suppose to for a short time but now she is wearing out her welcome. I gave many chances to get a job where i am( i only work part time) plus a single mother. She has NEVER worked to my knowledge, she has been on government assistance since 1999, thats 10 years its no excuse, she has 4 kids by 3 guys(2 of the 4 have the same father) but uses her having 4 kids as an excuse not to work. For the record that's abusing the system right? I mean i receive food stamps as well but i don't abuse it the way she does. But my question is how do i report this with her finding out?

  1. Honestly, she isn't doing anything illegal.  If she wasn't reporting that you guys live with her, then that is considered fraud, but it is so minor and makes no difference in the aid she receives that she wouldn't get in any trouble.

  2. You're situation sounds very difficult to deal with....but everyone has a family member that can be considered the black sheep....you could just report her to the Welfare office and they will send an invesigator, but it's worth considering if she gets arrested, there is no chance she will be leaving your house anytime soon after that while she is going through court....you can try to get your grandmother to get a restraining order against her, that way she would be forced to leave

  3. welfare is usually a state, not federal, program. good luck, this sort of thing happens all day everyday.

  4. Use the phone and call.

  5. She sounds like the dregs of this country. 4 kids by 3 fathers, i cant help but draw conclusion as to what those kids will be like when they are older. something tells me she'll be a grandmother pretty soon. Is there even any point reporting her, its people like that that would support birth liscening. Best way to deal with kids that are going to turn into scum? Dont let them exist in the first place (slightly fascist but it would work)

  6. There is nothing you can do as far reporting someone's laziness. There is no law against this type of abusing the system. You can only report her if she is lying about something. I wouldn't worry too much about it, it will catch up to her when all her kids turn 18 and she has no more assistance, no job experience and no education.
