  3. That should do it.  Don't be afraid to check out things in your bios you really can't blue screen the OS from there.  That's a Microsoft issue.  Every bios is different but most all of them give you an option when you hit esc or something to "load default settings" and that'll change everything back to the original ones.

Ohhh just re-read you question and your probably going to have to wipe your hard drive and re-load windows its pretty easy if you have the disks.

  4. different computers have differnet keys but often, when you start up the computer you hit the DELETE key once you hear the "beep" when the computer boots.  that will allow you to enter the bios settings.  once inside the bios, there's an option to restore factory settings.

  5. it sounds more like a coruppt operating system or a majer hardware software conflict than a bios problem

easiest sollution would be to back up your stuff and wipe the drive and reinstall windows

  6. You OverClocker!!! lol

Nah, it's no big deal, there's a reset button in your bio's menu. Some people have to press the delete button when the PC first starts up, and some have to press F8. :P

Figure it out, if the computer's broken already, what more damage can you do?

Oh, and if it isn't the bios, put the restore disc in and, enter the CMD, and run CHKDSK, FORMAT, and pretty much everything else

take out any newly installed hardware, and change the ports of where they were. :P

I guess that's all I can say, I was a little more detailed than the question. :D
