How do i reset my digital compass on my 2004 shogun?

when i press the reset button either W or E flashes and either the numbers 5, 10, 15 or 20 in the temp. part of the display

Check the shogun manual if you have one. Failing that get a Haynes Workshop manual or contact the Main Dealers.

In my chrysler you have to hold the reset button for 20 secs, then all you do is get in a ar park and go round in a circle for a few times and it should re calculate itself
