  1. Connect it to the computer > (hold down the centre and menu buttons) open iTunes and sync a song > eject and it should be unlocked/unfrozen.

  2. At the bottom just click the thing off orange & then restart it like you say.  If you need help just email me at mdanielle95@ymail.com

  3. k heres the how to- everyone at my school who owns an ipod has had this happen to them and, apparantly they think im the only one in the school who knows how to fix it because they all come to me for some reason.

But what you do is toggle the hold button maybe 4 times until it is into the unlocked position again.

then immediatly after you have toggled, press and hold the menu and center button for about 30 seconds.

It should restart, if not try again and make sure you are holding down BOTH the MENU and CENTER buttons at the SAME TIME

if you have tried this numerous times and still no such luck, you need to contact appe because your ipod could be faulty, but make sure you have your reciept first!!

    hope this helps

  4. Press the center button and the lower center play/pause button together.  That should turn it off.  Then push the center button again to turn it back on.

  5. make sure your ipod hold is off.

then hold down the center button and the up button at the same time.

    that should restart the ipod.
