How do i restore my lost but purchased music on itunes?

okay soo i got a new laptop a macbook pro and a new iphone 3g and all my recent purchreses didnt come on its in the purchaesed history but not in my library how do i recover them and put them in my library

Apple does have a 1 time request to redownload purchased music...

Try going to Store -> Check for Purchases...  It will check what you have in your library against what you purchased and then it will start downloading anything you don't have in your library, but you did purchase.

Uh oh...I think that's why itunes always prompts you to back-up your library.  Call Apple to be sure, but I think you have to back-up your music library to a disk.

if you don't have it backed up on a CD, or on an old computer to upload to your iphone, you don't have a chance at recovery. iTunes isn't that friendly.
