can i search my receipt/case # via internet on ur site? how do i send in my supporting documents?

  1. Your receipt number, if it's from a U.S. petition, would not be available on the internet.

    Your receipt number would not be annotated on your immigrant visa.

    Your receipt number would be on a form called a Notice of Action, form I-797. If you do not have a Notice of Action, or any other correspondence from CIS, it's going to be next to impossible to get your receipt number.

    Once you mailed in your application for immigrant visa you will then get a Notice of Action from USCIS and it will have your case number. After you received it then you check the status of your case online at http://uscis.gov
