How do i retrieve siezed property from ga police?

i was stopped in cobb co ga. in the long run i was arrested and my firearm was seized. now a year later im done with the court. how would i go abotu getting my firearm back? any paperwork i should know about. who should i talk to?

Why do you think they would give you an unregistered firearm back?  That makes as much sense as drinking purple drank.

Here's a link to an evidence unit in georgia, not your county but has some info.  Says you need a signed letter from prosecutor.
