How do i ride a vespa?

Question

i just bought a 1979 125px

i need to know hot shift the gears and no i have never riden a motorcyle or drove a stick shift car

any help is greatly appreciated

... the Vespa does have its quirks and oddities that define its character. Foremost is its manual four-speed transmission that is disengaged by pulling on the clutch lever and twisting the left handlebar assembly. Shifting gears may take some getting used to....

when the engine sounds like it needs to shift, then switch gears....
