  1. All tire manufactures recommend that you rotate your tires every 5000 miles and by doing this you will get the correct wear and reach the mileage guarantee.

Just balance and rotate them from front to rear.

  2. If you have access to a jack, a set of four jack-stands, and a good lug nut wrench do the following.

First you must jack the car up high enough to put the jack-stands under there safely.  Once the car is secured upon the jack-stands.  Remove all four tires with the lug nut wrench.  When all tires are removed take the front two and move them straight back.  Then take the rear two and criss-cross them on the front.   Be safe and good luck!

  3. i would rotate them every 5000, that way you can be sure they are all wearing even. a few thousand over doesn't hurt either. your best to take them to the tyre joint who did they, usually they rotate them free of charge and ask them to balance all four wheels. when they are all balanced right it makes the car drive so much better.

    have a great day!

  4. Don't bother YET.

The 5000 miles recommendation was when cars were not well made.  Back then the tires didn't wear very evenly.  That is ancient history.

Now you rotate them at about 20K mile to 40K miles.  The front wheel do MUCH more work and they wear out faster.  But you can wait at least 20K miles.

Just keep an eye out from time to time to see if they are wearing evenly over the surface.
