How do i run the mile in 6 min?

i can run pretty fast but cant run for a long time how can i fix that?

  1. I would train.  Build up your endurance.  In order to run the mile in 6 min. you have to at least run a constant speed of:

    (1 mi.) / ( 6/60 hr.) = 10 mph

  2. Interval training do this workout once a week til you can make every time

    Go to the track

    Warm up

    Run five 400 meter intervals at or as close as you can at 1:30

    take a 30 second break between each one.

    Cool down and stretch

  4. So you dont have good stamina, try running up hills! that's going to slowly improve your stamina by alot

  5. you will need to pace your self take a little time and pratice so you can cross the line of the mile right at the 6 min, you will see it's just above a trot, good luck

    first run the mile slower

    first learn to make the distance

    then after you can make it even it is is a 10 min mile

    make the mile first

    then every day try to make the mile in less time

    9:30

    9:00

    8:30

    and so on
