How do i save/backup my drivers on my computer before reformatting it so that i do not lose them?

I have a toshiba satellite laptop and all of the drivers are there. How can i back them up so that after i format my laptop i can just quickly install them?

  2. I have used DriverGrabber for a couple of years including on my Toshiba Laptop  Download it from here:

    It is a .zip file so you will need to extract it to a folder.  When you do just run the program and it will save any non Microsoft drivers into individual folders in the same folder.  Save the whole folder to a cd or flash drive then when you reinstall you can copy the folder to your hard drive and update missing drivers by telling windows to go to that folder.

    When you have got internet access go to the website and update the drivers for your model.

  3. I recently found that the utility I got off http://www.pcdriverdoctor.com will backup drivers as well as update them all.

    So, if you get that, you can backup what you've got and then restore them after you finish your re-installation.

    Then, you can update them all to the latest versions and back em up again!
