theres a pretty cool program called DVD Decrypter that lets u rip DVDs on to ur computer, and then u can later burn them on other blank DVDs if you wish. heres the link:

warning tho, DVDs take up a lot of space from ur computer.

I don't like DVDdecrypter, it's a pain to use.  http://www.slysoft.com/en/  AnyDVD and CloneDVD from that site work best.  It lets you burn anything.  You can burn Blu-Ray and HD if you have the right drive.  DVDs usually take up about 4GB of space on your hard drive...
