Question:

How do i save pillsbury can biscuits that i don't want to cook that day?

I'm on a fixed budget so i buy cans that have 8 biscuit and save the rest for another day....i tried it before but they just went flat as a pancake.

  1. Freeze the one you don't cook that day or cook them all and then freeze the ones you don't eat.

    When they start to go bad or are not as fresh, you can use them to make stuffing...that's how you stretch food on a budget.


  2. I have cooked them all and then put the rest in the fridge or freezer for another day. You can always put them in the oven or microwave to warm up.  

  3. If you look at the expiration date on the end of the can, that's when you should use them by.  After that they do not raise as well, nor do they taste as fresh. And that is when they are in the can.

    Rather than trying to save the uncooked dough, bake all the biscuits, and freeze the extras.  Wrap them in foil or a resealable bag, removing as much air as possible.  Reheat the biscuits in the oven or microwave.

  4. just cook them then put them in the fridge. ive done that and put them in the toaster (cut in half), they were good.
