How do i save pix from the internet on my computer at jpg format if im on a MAC?

whenever i go to file save as it wont save it as a jpg, it saves it as a web page. HELP!

Control+Click on the picture and click on "Save Image As..."

Then, if it isn't a .jpg and you need it to be, open it with Preview and go to File, Save As... and save it as a .jpg in the drop down menu.
