  1. Mail it.

  2. Depends on the software you are using.  If it's MS Outlook 2007, you can specify rules that regulate when the out of office assistant sends messages. In you scenario I probably wouldn't use out of office assistant and instead would create a rule to reply to specific people:

1 - From Tools menu select 'Rules and alerts'

    2 -Click 'New Rule'

3 - Select 'Check messages when they arrive' and click 'Next'

4 - In Step 1 window select 'from people or distribution list'

5 - In Step 2 window click on highlighted 'people or distribution list'

6 - Select name of person or persons from your address book so they appear in box next to from, then click 'OK'

    7 - Click 'Next'

8 - Select either 'Have server reply....' or 'Reply using...', if you can it would probably be better to have server reply, as you wouldn't need to be logged in for that

9 - In Step 2 click on highlighted 'a specific message'

10 - Enter the Subject and reply test you wish to send and click 'Save & Close'

    11 - Click 'next' again

12 - Add any exceptions you need (probably won't need this) and click 'Next'

    13 - Name the rule

14 - You'll probably not want to run the rule on messages already in your inbox, so don't tick that, but tick to turn rule on

15 - Click finish to turn rule on

16 - Click OK to leave rules

If you wish to test the rule if you have a secondary e-mail address you could always set the rule up to reply to that and

send yourself an e-mail to see if it works...

Hope that helps, I know it works similar in old versions of Outlook so you may be able to figure it out from what I've sent you.

    Cheers
