How do i sent a text message to a landline phone?

how do i send a text message to a landline phone and have the phone read it out to me as a voice mail message? is there a phone that lets me text back? just wondering...

first, you gotta have a phone that supports text/data...! There are phones like that our there, but the average person don't have them!

now, if you have VoIP....there you can send .wave.files ( messages via your email) and also record them onto the iPot or any MP3 player! I have that with my VoIP provider for free.....its part of there features...!
