How do i set carb speed adjustments on 66 80horse johnson?

Turn both of your screws in all the way. then back them out 1 full turn each. This is your starting point. after that you must tune them with the motor running in the water to get the best results . one at a time take them  in a little till you cause a "pop" then bring the s***w back out till it smooths out. Do the same with the other s***w. You may have to bring the screws out more than the 1 turn you started with.  If this does not work you will probably be looking at  a carb clean and rebuild job.
