How do i set my avatar(face)?

IF YOU WANT AN AVATAR( CARTOON PICTURE) THEN:

*Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com

*When you get there click "Preferences" to choose male or female.

*Click save after you choose.

*Then you can create what you want to look like. Appearance, apparel, extras, etc.

*Look around at the sub categories, face, hair, eyes, all categories have numbered pages, so take your time.

*As you are trying thing you will see in the avatar pane. When you like it, click "Save Changes". You can save things to Favorites for another time.

*Now, come back to Yahoo Answers. Click the "My Profile" link to the upper right of this Yahoo Answers page, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the image section and check the option of showing your avatar. Click Preview and then the OK button.

IF YOU WANT YOUR OWN PICTURE AS AN AVATAR THEN:

1st  create a 360 space at http://360.yahoo.com . Now start creating your 360 space from there. Click the big yellow "Get Started" button on the far right section of that page.

After that, you can log in by by clicking on the  "Sign-in" button on the upper left of the page. Then, the page refreshes and click on "Yahoo 360 Home" link on the upper right of the page to get into the 360 page.

Make sure that your picture is  a JPEG formatted photo under 5MB.

*Click your "My Page" link at the top

* Click "Edit Profile Photos" over the empty picture frame

* Click "Browse" and upload photo from your computer's folder.

Then click on "use as primary"  button on the right before saving.

You can upload only  5 profile pictures (including an avatar).

Now, come back to Yahoo Answers. Click the "My Profile" link to the upper right of this Yahoo Answers page, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Scroll down to the image section and check the option of showing the 360 picture. Click Preview and then the OK button.

Just follow these steps:

Click on "My profile" (or just click on your nick name) then

Click on "Edit my info" then

Click on "Edit my avatar picture" a new page will pop where you can choose your avatar, do it and then save it.

Go back to your profile and click on "Use my avatar picture".

If you want to upload any other picture do as follows:

Click on your nick name.

Click on "My 360 profile" a new page will pop up where you can upload any picture you want from your pc. Do that then save the changes.

Go back to your profile and clikc on "Use my 360 profile picture"

At the top of the page, to the bottom right of the green section, go to my profile > Edit my Info > Edit my Yahoo! Avatar.

click on your yahoo! answers icon and a new page will load. Then, there's a box that has stuff in it and one link you can click on says edit my info. Then, scroll down to where it says icon, and then there is three boxes go to the 3rd one that says use my yahoo! avatar and a link will say edit my yahoo! avatar click it and have fun!
