How do i set my recording as ringtones on my lg shine?

the recording type is amr and it wont let me set it to my ringtone cuz its not an mp3 so how do i convert it to an mp3?

To record:

Press Menu

Scroll to and select My Stuff

Scroll to and select Audio & Ringtones

Scroll to and select Record Voice

Press Record to begin the recording

Press Stop to end the recording

NOTE: the recording is automatically saved to the "My Stuff" folder

Select that ringtone:

Press Menu

Scroll to and select Settings

Select Audio & Ringtones

Scroll to and select Ringtones

Highlight the desired ring, then press Set
