How do i set the timimg on my chevy 350 rv?

how far can i adjust the timing on a chevy 350 in my rv? i want to advance the timing to get a beter idle , but i dont want to loose any higher rpm performance.

Use a timing light.  If its 88 or newer your wasting your time though because of the computer.  If its older when it spark knocks you went to far or you have to use higher octane gas.

If it ain't broke don't fix it, you can cause excess cylinder heat and hard starting conditions by playing with the timing
